He joined AMEND to help deliver homes that are not only high-performing and healthy, but also built through an experience that feels welcoming, attentive, and personal.

“On a random Saturday morning before breakfast my then two-year-old daughter and I were playing with refrigerator magnet letters. She was saying the letters for the first letter of her name, her siblings’ names, M for mommy, and D for daddy. The five letters were laid in front of us and as they moved into different combinations, I recognized the word AMEND on the floor in front of us. I realized this could be the name for the company. AMEND means to make better, to improve. What better name for a company with a goal of focusing on high-performance, energy efficient design and construction.”
